My Alarm Arms But The Doors Wont Lock

Press and release do not press and hold.

My alarm arms but the doors wont lock.

Press the unlock and the trunk buttons ii iii at the same time. I have also tried locking it from the inside door itself. All the doors lock fine. I have to open the door and push the lock button.

Shut the door and try to lock it. But each time i want to arm my car i have to push the door lock button. In any case this does not mean your alarm isn t armed when the doors don t work it just means the actuator malfunctioned and you just lock them manually. If it won t lock open the door.

Have the vehicle turned off and the doors closed unlock the vehicle or disarm the alarm system by pressing unlock on your remote. I have checked all. My alarm will not arm. Any alarm installer should usually have spare connecting tabs.

This is more than likely linked to the alarm right. When i push the alarm button to disarm it unlocks and doors and is fine. This evening i accidently set off the panic alarm when putting the key ring in my pocket. The alarm is the one that locks and unlocks the doors for me.

Any advice would be appreciated. When i press lock on the key fob i get the standard beep then another beep about a second later and the alarm will not arm. When i push my alarm button to lock it arms but doesnt lock the doors. I get the standard two beeps when unlocking.

The fix is easy too. I have a 1997 nissan sentra with auto locks and an aftermarket alarm and when i press the arm button my alarm arms but doesn t lock my doors the unlock button will unarm my car and unlock the doors if i lock them manually how can i fix this myself. What could be the sudden problem.
